A Dreamy Escape to The Laguna
lagoon view king bed family photoshoot serene atmosphere
The Beautiful Lagoon View guest room with one king bed and balcony was so luxurious. The views of the lagoon from our room were fine. We were treated to a family photoshoot by Dream Studio Bali and Mary helped us select the perfect photo package. The hotel exudes a serene atmosphere making my time here lovely.
The breakfast area was quite crowded sometimes, so we waited a little for a table.

The staff was especially attentive. Awi looked after us ensuring our holiday was relaxing. They provided excellent support during our entire stay. Many team members go above and beyond expectations.

The Banyubiru breakfast offers a wide selection. It includes Indonesian Bubur Ayam, fresh fruit, and pastries. Arwana restaurant features chefs preparing excellent local and international dishes. It also has a sea view.

well maintained grounds breakfast buffet live music relaxing vibe
The garden view room had what I needed. The resort maintains grounds well. The breakfast buffet included many choices. I visited Arwana and the Pool bar and found both good. Live music added to Pool Bar's atmosphere.
Conference attendees sprawled in public areas. They were on phones and took up guest spaces. This impacted the relaxing vibe. I did not expect that.

The location is beachfront and includes a private beach. One can walk along the riverbank. This provides a path to various resorts nearby. The views are scenic with easy access to other destinations.

beachfront location pool bed bell system room delay key card room problem
The resort featured many pools. I could choose a different one each day. the beachfront location was great! lots of pool beds were available. it was also nice that the staff used a bell system for service.
arriving at 2 pm, i was asked to wait until 3 pm for my room. i then waited until 4:20 pm and had to ask when it would be ready, the room was finally available after 6:00 pm. also entering the room became problematic with the key card.

meticulous care friendly staff bad attitude security guard
The grounds appear maintained with meticulous care. The staff were some of the friendliest I ever met. I was surprised with an upgrade to a suite. It did.
I was not aware of a large conference taking place at the hotel. The hotel let the security impose bad attitude on guests. The security guards watched me from bushes. The management seemed to not listen to my concerns.
